Bihar final voter list 2025 has been released on 30 September 2025. The Election Commission of India has completed the special summary revision (SSR) and the hearing of deleted names. This comes just ahead of the Bihar Assembly Elections, which are expected in October–November this year.
How to Download Bihar SIR Final Roll 2025
Go to the official voters list download at this link: https://voters.eci.gov.in/download-eroll
Select "Bihar", your district, constituency and part number, enter the captcha and select "SIR Final Roll 2025" in the roll type as shown in the below image.
The revision started in August and allowed citizens to add or object to names in the draft voter roll. Now, with hearings of deleted names ending on 25 September 2025, the officers are finalizing the updated list to ensure accuracy before the elections.
This exercise is crucial because Bihar has over 7.24 crore registered voters. During the process, the commission received 16.93 lakh applications for name addition and 2.17 lakh requests for deletion. The updated list will reflect all changes and corrections made during this period.
Political activity has also picked up pace. The BJP recently appointed Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as the election in-charge for Bihar, showing that preparations for the upcoming polls are already in full swing.
