A voter slip is a document which has to be presented at the polling station before casting your vote. Election Commission of India releases the voter slip to each and every registered voter in the voter list.
Voter slip includes details of a voter, including their name, age, gender, photo, assembly constituency, polling station location, and the date and time of the poll. On the day of the election, carrying this slip acts as a helpful guide for voters and also helps in identifying legitimate voters.
For the 2024 loksabha elections, the Election Commission of India has provided a facility to download the Digital Photo Voter Slip on the voters helpline app.
Download Digital Photo Voter Slip 2024
You can download the digital version of your voter slip with photo on the voters helpline app. Below is the detailed procedure to download the voter slip on your mobile.
STEP 1: Download & Install the Voters Helpline App
First visit any of these download links: Android App, iPhone App and install the voter helpline app.
STEP 2: Login / Create a New Account
If you already have an account on the ECI voters service portal voters.eci.gov.in, then you can directly login by entering your phone number and password. If you do not have an account, please create one on the app itself.
STEP 3: Go to Voter Services Tab
Click on the “Voter Services” tab as shown in the below image
STEP 4: Search Name in Electoral Roll
Now click on the textbox saying “Search Name in Electoral Roll” as shown in below app screenshot
STEP 5: Enter Details and Tap “Search”
Now tap on the “EPIC No.” and enter your voter ID card number which is printed on your photo voter ID card and then tap “Search“, as shown in the below image.
If entered EPIC number is correct, then you will see your voter slip details on the new screen as below.
From this screen, you can download the voter slip in image format by sharing it on your whatsapp, email or any other medium. You can also take a screenshot of your digital Photo ID card.
Download PDF of Voter Slip Online
If you do not want to download the app, you can download the voter slip online from the official voters portal of ECI. Below is the step by step process to download voter slip PDF online.
Step 1: Visit the official ECI voters portal at this link and login / create a new account.
Step 2: Now click on the ‘Search in Electoral Roll’ tab on this page.
Step 3: You can also directly click this link. After reaching this page, click on “ईपीआईसी द्वारा खोजें / Search by EPIC“
Step 5: Enter your correct EPIC or Voter ID card number, select state (not mandatory), enter captcha text and click “SEARCH” button.
Step 6: If you have entered correct EPIC number, then you will see your details as below. Now click on the “View Details” link in the “Action” column.
Step 7: A new page with complete details and an option to download the voter slip in PDF format will open as similar to below. Click on the “मतदाता सूचना प्रिंट करें Print Voter Information” button.
Step 8: After clicking the button, a voter slip PDF file in the name of your voter id card number will be saved on your computer.
Obtain Voter Slip from the Polling Booth Itself
If you do not want the hassle of login / creating account on ECI portal, you can also obtain the printed copy of your Voter slip from outside the polling booth itself.
