Nayab Singh Saini was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Haryana for the second time on 17 October 2024, following the BJP’s victory in the state assembly elections. He represents the Ladwa constituency in Kurukshetra district and is known as a prominent face from the OBC (Other Backward Classes) community in Haryana politics. Before taking charge as Chief Minister, he served as the President of BJP’s Haryana unit, playing a key role in strengthening the party’s base across the state. Under his leadership, the BJP won 48 out of 90 seats, enabling the party to form the government for the third time in a row. His leadership reflects the party’s strategy to ensure strong governance with social balance.
