Congress leadership approved adding 20 leaders to Karnataka Cabinet. This new cabinet has seven Scheduled Caste ministers. It includes three from SC (Right), two from SC (Left), one Lambani representative and one Bhovi representative.
Government also included three Scheduled Tribe ministers. Four key positions are now held by members of Muslim community. This includes three Cabinet ministers and Chairman of Karnataka Legislative Council.
